So I guess what I'm asking is, any other ideas? Or suggestions for things I might be doing wrong? The explanations in those old threads are a little vague at times. Other people said that checking specific settings on the 64-bit options in x360ce would help, but it doesn't work and I'm not sure it should because I'm using 32-bit (it's a fairly old machine). I found some old threads here where people suggested using Big Picture mode to set up the controller, but it doesn't work. You'll battle your way through a series of levels, confronting different types of enemies and collecting weapons and power-ups along the way. I can attack and roll forward, but no directional control at all. Dead Cells is a hybrid of roguelike and Metroidvania-style action platformer in which you take on the role of a blob of cells inhabiting a decapitated corpse. No matter how I bind the controls, it just doesn't work. However, this game refuses to see the dpad. I can even play Rocket League with my SNES controller, I love it. I have this controller specifically for emulators and I find that xbox or ps4 controllers feel supremely awkward in those.īut I wanted to use it in games, and I found x360ce, which works in a lot of games. I have a Direct Input SNES controller, and no intentions of getting anything newer.
